Good Evening DaVita Teammates,
I cannot comment on any entries from any of you, because I just got back to the hotel and I am dead tired. I will do some pure business emails for another 30 minutes or so, so I can get to bed by a bit after midnight. Today started at 8:00 am, which does not sound early but when you take into account that I had been up 33 out of the previous 36 hours it is not too shabby for an old man.
At 8 am I had to drag myself out of bed and into the gym, where I did a surprisingly robust 23 minutes on the lifecycle, followed by 2 sets of curls and push-ups (30 and 24) and 2 sets of stretching. Total minutes = 33. Not bad given the circumstances, but not impressive either.
Many good meetings all day, followed by a productive dinner and a couple phone calls back to the states.
I am eager to catch up with how the 800 of you are doing! I wish you well in our shared adventure.

Wow, KT, your days are long and busy, yet you still manage to capture a minimum of 30 minutes of fitness… I am impressed.
I did 20 minutes of cardio intervals on the elliptical followed by 40 minutes of core and strength training using free weights, weight machines, the TRX, and core stability ball. I kicked my own rear to the tune of 550 calories in that hour, with the bonus being that I slept like the dead!
Yes, 25 years on 5/1/11 and I’m shooting to get back into this seemingly really tiny wedding dress (size 7)…. thanks for your leadership and guidance in that endeavor with this Match the Mayor challenge!

I love this program! I look forward to and find excuses to exercise all the time, so that I can log on and track my progress. I’m still in Lebanon, Missouri, almost to OK, not worried about or competing with anyone but myself. I’ve walked my dogs into the ground and I start a Tai Chi Gung class Monday for 8 weeks. This program is a great motivator and gets me, my family, and my dogs involved, too! The recipes are a wonderful addition! Thank you for coming up with this great idea!!

Wow, everyone is doing so great. I needed the motivation. Had bee losing wt and started walking. Then shocked by son and his wife moving to Liberia, needless to say threw me for a loop. Stopped everything. But I am getting back in the game. Farewells will be done on Thursday ( 16th) and I am determined to complete the Route 66. Final goal be so skinny my kids won’t recognize me at the airport or at least be very healthy when they return in 2 years. This is great to keep motivation going. Goal: 30 minutes at least 3 days this week!!!
