From KT – August 29,2011
Dear DaVita Teammates, 2022 comprising Team Health!
I think this will be my last entry, given my schedule the next 2 days. So the overtime MTM IV is closing down.
I hit 187.4 this morning. So I achieved 96% of my 5 pound weight reduction goal.
I exceeded my exercise minutes goal. Good! Feel free to refer to my grid on the website to see the numbers.
And …I fell short of the servings goal, which I believe was 4.0 a day. Darn! But I certainly had more than I would have otherwise. Once again it is on the grid.
Just to fill in the last gap, yesterday I had 1.5 servings of fruit, and 2.5 servings of veggies, Denise made this incredibly good American Heart Association version of jambalaya with nearly all veggies.
I am eager to hear how many of you went how far, how many achieved their goals, how may think they benefited from being a part of the Match the Mayor team. I did.
Take Care. One for All & All for One. Not just a slogan to some of us.

Even though you only achieved a scale measure of 96% of your goal, you probably put on some muscle through this whole thing, so in fact you may have lost more than your weight reduction goal. Congrats on finishing strong & keep motivating KT.

I also enjoyed the program it did give me a little push to do something each day. So thanks for the leadership on this little program and the big program ( the company ) too!

Good Job KT!!! You have made improvements and that is what counts. I did pretty well until we had a family medical emergency and then my exercise minutes pretty much vanished and I just wasn’t able to eat much because of stress. So my team, The formidable four, ended up in 14th place nationwide and 1st place in maryland. So we were pretty pleased with our successes. I will be looking forward to the next MTM. This was fun! Have a happy Labor Day! Hope you get to stay “unplugged”.
