Yo DaVitans,
Boy does it feel good to be back in America. It was a whirlwind 2 weeks of travel, wonderful in many ways, but always so good to be back.
AND my weight was not as bad as I feared it would be. 189.6.
Saturday was another one of those 25 hours in a row up and moving. We got up at 4:45 am in Italy to head to the airport. Then flew to Munich, to catch the long flight to Philadelphia. Then connected to another flight to Wisconsin. Then took my parents out to dinner. By the time all this was over, it was 5:45 am Italy time when I went to bed, and I never napped for a second. I got a prodigious amount of work done on the flights, no movie, no bookreading. Sent out over 400 emails, deleted over 1400 of same. Nothing like an international trip for catching up on things – except sleep.
On Saturday, no exercise. Just not possible, because my parents wanted to get out to dinner once I arrived, and did not want me to go off on a run. But it was a day with 3.0 servings of veggies and 2.0 servings of fruit. No dessert.
I slept 10.5 hours on Saturday night. We visited for a couple more hours with my folks, then left to catch a flight back to Denver. Sunday had 2.5 servings of fruit and 2.0 servings of veggies. Once I got home I got a modest workout in before the conference calls started – 24 minutes on the bike, two sets of push-ups (40 and 20), 100 crunches, and some nice stretching. Total minutes of 45.
I have to run to a meeting, it is Monday afternoon—hope all is well with all of you, keep up the good work, over 2000 of us working together!!!!!!!

Yo Cindy! The vacation was good, not great. A bit too much work to be great. But I am psyched that you are getting exercise 5 days a week! over time you will get in some longer sessions, your body will want them!
