What’s your favorite way to stay active?
Patrick McKinnon– “I enjoy my crossfit gyms in Denver and in Dallas. After initial trepidation, I have grown to value working out in groups, which pushes me far more than I would push myself. In fact, my regular workout groups have become a second family for me and get me into a good mindset for the day.”
Mandy Hale– “Do I have to pick just one? I love competing in triathlons, so I am going to pick swimming, biking and running! ”
Elise Duke– “With four kids and a full time job, I have found it difficult to stay active on a daily basis. After turning 40, I decided it was time to shape up and get moving. I make it a priority to fit in 30 mins of activity – whether it be yoga through an app on my phone or the exercise bike I have at home.”
Traciee Huff– “Dancing”
Allan Cullop– “Hiking”
Dave Hoerman-“Love hiking, walks with my family and our dog Banjo, and especially love going for bike rides, both road and mountain. I also enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, and staying really active in the winter.”
Jonathan Lujan– “Train in mixed martial arts.”
Anne Bailey– “I get 15K steps a day, on average, and do strength training 2-3x a week.”

I love playing football with my kids, running with the dog, and just anything out doors.

I walk at the new lab on my two 15min breaks. We have a nice new walking path, next to a fountain, makes it also relaxing. At home I ride my stationary bike in the evening for 30mins.

I love taking my dog for walks after work and early in the morning on weekends. Mojo is loving feeling like a million too.

I like water activities. I surf 3 times per week and I swin 2 times per week when the waves are not pumping.

Yesterday I was blessed to be able walk 2.5 miles prior to starting my day. Yep, again I started in the dark and was amazed at the beauty of God’s sunrise. Just what I needed to fill my cup prior to teaching One For All to our newest class of brand new teammates! I love sharing how DaVita is different, and why I love what I do and, why I’ve been here 27 years… and counting!

Favorite way to stay active. I like to play tug a war with my bulldog, take my horse out in the open plain and let him pin his ears back and run. I like to swim if the water is warm enough in the Illinois river in Oklahoma if not I just kayak or canoe a few miles.
