My first day of MTM as grandsons and family left for GA. So much to be thankful for with two new grand baby boys and healthy families.

Looking forward to a routine to get optimally healthy. Have deconditioned since moving here 2 years ago, so conditioning to get my tennis game up to speed!

Focusing to start slow so I don’t have injuries.

    Good luck everyone!

Yo Cate! I like the sound of that, “deconditioned”. I certainly did that in the first 7 weeks post-surgery. But I am on the road back. One for all, KT

Great to hear from you KT. All the best to your recovery. I am off to a great start today with an amazing rigourous hike up to Emerald Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park with the family. Back to work tomorrow after 3 glorious days up on the mountain. One for all!

Hey Doug – enjoy that hike, as you know I will miss my four backpacking/camping trips this summer, because of the injury. Next year, with all the more appreciation! KT

…and the refrain “I’m back in the saddle again…” keeps playing through my head! It’s wonderful to see your enthusiasm in full form, and nice to have you pedaling along!!

Yo Cheryl – I am working towards that “improving my overall well-being” from the reality of my current recovery … but not there yet. I will persevere on that as I will on the PT itself, I believe you are right. I am just not there yet.

Yo Gwen – it was a HAPPY day when they said I could get back on the lifecycle and finally do some cardio again! KT

Gwenn – your comment is quite amusing since I just titled my 20 mile ride on Saturday exactly that! It’d been over a year since I rode so it was completely appropriate. Running is my forte, but cycling is definitely at the top of the cross-training list.
KT – wishing you loads of determination and patience during your PT. I’ve been there, and when all you want to do is just go back to the way things were pre-injury, making the absolute very best of your experience and the changes you may have to your exercise routine will only improve your overall well-being (if you let it). Hoping to meet you someday soon!

KT – Glad you are getting around better. Hope you will be able to progress back to your active self soon!! This year my goal is to work in cardio two days per week into my 2-3 days per week yoga practice. Glad to do this with MtM9!

That’s my yoga too!! Love bikram!! I hope you eventually can get back in the hot room for some half-tortoise et al to help loosen up those tissues. Stay strong!!
