WOW what a busy day, too bad work does not count as cardio! You are a true inspiration. Thank you for leading the charge and living the example.

I don’t know how you do it. Kudos to you. This is a very good thing to do with us teammates, thank you. You have encouraged me to do more I have followed all the MTM, not that I can match you but I have lost 20 pounds and some good numbers with my last physical and my daughter is joining us off line. I talk with the patients about this on occasion to get them more involved with their exercising.
The bear would have sent me home for good although I too find them beutiful in their own way.

Yo Natylee, welcome back! Your 20 pounds is much better than I have done. While I exercise a lot, I consume too many calories! I know when I drop to the low 180’s all my clinical labs are better. Let’s do it, with or without the bears! KT

Teresa Parrott, GARDEN GROVE, CAAll signed up & ready to go. I know last year this was a very helpful tool to keep me on track. I just finished a mountain bike weight loss challenge & over 60 days I lost 15lbs but I noticed since I’m not checking in its been difficult to stay on track. I am really glad the Village has put this back together again. Let’s see what happens next. Good luck to everyone!!! Thank you!

    KT- Welcome back Teresa! KT

Anthony Wheeler, LAKEWOOD, COI just took the opportunity to sign in and start my journey!

    KT-Happy Trails Anthony! KT

Gladis Gaxiola, SANTA ANA, CAI’m also starting today July 27, 2011

KT-Are you still with us Gladis? KT

Brenda Richards, CENTER POINT, ALOk so I am starting today July 27 2011

KT-What about you brenda? Are you still with us? KT

Sharon BrownSince it has been really hot this summer, I have been doing extra work in the house so I can maintain a regular exercise routine. I prefer to walk which helped me to lose 20lbs last year. I have 8lbs to go to meet my goals.

KT-You go Sharon! 20 pounds, that is impressive. I need to hit my goal of 5 pounds in this month, and then see if I can carry the momentum to another 5. kt

Simona Williams, FLORENCE, ALGood Morning All, I had a long day yesterday, but still got out at 9 pm and walked. So I am proud of that!
It was a good walk because it was not as hot. We have something called the W C Handy Festival going on and a great blues band was playing near my house. So I had great music, stars in the sky and a great walk.

KT-An hour of high energy dancing can be great exercise Simona! Walk on! kt

Allison Landrum, CHARLOTTESVILLE, VAI have been doing well for the past month or so, but about 2 weeks ago I sprained my ankle, so any moderate amount of exercise I do on my feet does not hurt, but swells my ankle to about twice its size. I’ve been doing some upper body cardio and weight training to keep myself active. I have not been so good the past couple of days, but plan to get back on track today. So far I’ve lost 3lbs and an inch on my waist line.

KT-Yo Allison, that is awesome! perhaps a little stationary bike while your ankle is hurting? kt

Seth Jeffries, FAYETTEVILLE, GAI worked out yesterday for an hour. I’m feeling great today. Ever since I started exercising and eating healthy; I have so much more energy. Getting up in the morning to go to work used to be such a task, but now it’s a lot easier. This evening, I’m going to the gym, I can’t wait.

KT-Dear Seth – you are so right, health momentum is a powerful thing, for the body and the soul. Hope you are keeping it up! KT
