From KT – August 12, 2014
Quick MTM Flash !
Weight 191.4 this am. Perhaps starting to pick up momentum in the closing stretch. To achieve this I have done creative things like eat less, cut out desserts, and less alcohol. Perhaps I can patent that novel approach.
Yesterday lunch was a powerhouse of chicken with green beans, peppers and zucchini, 2.5 servings with great corn sauce. Dinner was a solid pork tenderloin left over plate with 1.5 servings, a mixture of green beans and asparagus.

Thank you for your posts and encouragement to eat better and take care of ourselves.
You might be on to something with the idea of: eat less, exercise more, drink less alcohol and limit desserts.(smile)-but I’m not a medical professional… Apparently alcohol has many calories. I switched to Skinny girl margaritas (pour it directly over ice)-I hear light beer also is a good swap. That last information may have either been helpful or really bummed you out…I’m sure others may have suggestions as well.
I thank you for your brave adventure into blogging your journey. Beyond the food and exercise adventure, your updates gave a newer teammate like me a glimpse inside the daily life of our leader. BTW I am walking more and stopped eating one of my favorite tricky items – frozen yogurt with the dreaded yummy, “not good for you” toppings at Yogurtland.
