From KT – July 1, 2013
Greetings to the Good People of DaVita …
Quick note tonight … I am tired.
I got to hotel in DC around midnight, had to do some work, turned off the bed lamp at 2:30 am. I woke up at 6:30 am to work out and head to a day of meetings. Meetings ended at 7:30 pm, went straight to business dinner with 2 members of our Board of Directors. Good productive dinner, then had another meeting over a beer with a DVA exec until 10:45 pm. then came back, did some email/vmail, called my wife, called my daughter, and now it is 12:10 am and I will read the paper and go to bed. Tomorrow starts about 6:15 am.
Today I did 26 solid minutes on lifecycle. No PT. Zero Diet Cokes.

I wanted to let you know that you are inspiring and I’m not sure how you are able to be productive for so many hours in a day, but it gives us all something to work towards. Also, I enjoy reading what happens in your day as it gives us a rare look inside the life of CEO.

P.S. – It may be a little devilish; however, I cracked a smile when I read about the late night ice cream snack. My husband can relate!
