WOW, 4,000 TM getting fit together?! That’s worth celebrating, but not with a diet coke and not with the 4 oreos I ate.LOL
Alas, today is a new day to eat CLEAN.
KT, have a great workout today and hope you sleep well tonight.

    Hi KT,
The schedule you keep and the work you do is truly inspiring. Always remember that each day is a new day to re-commit to your goals. Reflect on the past days to move forward but don’t beat yourself up. Something that helps keep me motivated is from the book, “The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom (A Toltec Wisdom Book)”…

    ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST

Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick, at the beginning of the day versus the end of the day. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

I also wanted to share that several of us are checking in with each other regularly which is really helping to keep us moving forward towards our goals. Thanks so much for leading us each year into healthy life style changes through these MTM events.

Thanks for motivating me to be more active, KT! My 11 year old son and I have been exercising together every night and we are having so much fun doing it! I understand the need for a soda everyday – I too want my Dr. Pepper every afternoon! I will try to cut back to every other day with you!! Together we can do this!

    KT,
I completely “quit” Diet Coke about 9 months ago, and I have never felt better! After getting through the inital cravings, I noticed I don’t get the “lows” or “dragging” feelings anymore. I used to get those caffeine headaches as well, and now I just feel good through out the day.
Keep trying to kick it. The pay off will come!!

Have you ever tried not eating anything or drinking any caffeine drink after 7pm? This may help you sleep sounder and get in 8 hours. I understand you have a high powered job but it looks like you are not getting enough sleep which can affect weight loss as well as overall health. With the greatest respect, your dietitian

You are right. Important to be honest with ourselves, but equally important to be gentle. Although right now I am just a bit discusted with myself, using the long hours as an excuse. Life’s a rich pageant.
