Labor Day, also known as the “workingman’s holiday,” celebrates hard working Americans and the time and commitment they make each and every day to their jobs and families. It also marks the end of summer with the final barbecues and picnics of the season, and the next school year about to begin.

With all the social activities, travel and cookouts around this holiday weekend, it’s important to stay on track with diet, exercise and medication routines. Check out some of these kidney-friendly favorite recipes to try this Labor Day.
