    Sounds like a great day overall! I will have to keep the Big 4 in mind as well–I’m 56 too! I have some issues with my knees so there are things I can’t do like bike ride (which I really miss)and no jumping but there are a lot I can do so I concentrate on those activities. We go through a series of stretching in my boxing class before we spar which seems to help with balance. It’s amazing how a simple thing as a stretch can make such a difference. Hope all have a wonderful day and a great 4th..Happy Birthday America!!

    Thanks for the tip on the “Big Four” for all of us “over 50” folks (I’m north of 60). I’ll keep that in mind when I’m biking. It’s a great sport. I love to see all the beautiful scenic views while riding down here in Florida. I also do scuba diving, swimming & bowling. I believe keeping active helps keep our bodies young! Enjoy your 4th of July!

    I had a great July 4th…spent the morning with some of my peeps from Weight Watchers and ran my first 5k. WOOHOO..I ran 3.94 miles in 41.29 minutes. I have a picture from 2 years ago where I could finally walk a 5k with ease and now 2 years later I was able to run it….it was the best feeling. Thank you for doing the MTM…it is a great inspiration. Have a great one.

    KT – I do need to get back to yoga … I may do that on Friday. So healthy! kt
