Yo DaVita!
Good morning! IT is Wednesday am, I will be driving up to Sacramento for a meeting in a couple of hours so I thought I would submit my latest journal entry to MM II.
Life is returning to normal. Son back at school, etc. Here is the news on my pursuit of MM II goals”
a. Minutes of exercise
On Monday, a solid 27 minutes on the bike, followed by sit-ups and some stretching. Total of 35 minutes of healthy exercise.
On Tuesday, a strong 33 minutes on the bike, followed by sit-ups, push-ups, plank and above-average stretching. A total of 50 minutes.
b. Diet Cokes — I still have the craving, but it is reduced somewhat. 1.5 on Monday and ZERO yesterday. This part of MM is really working for me, I am way down from previous consumption, and getting used to having more and more water.
c. Weight — 194 this am, down a net one pound. Given day to day variability, too close to say much about. I ate very well yesterday, all 3 meals … and promptly rewarded myself with a big bowl of ice cream last night. I love ice cream.
Thanks for all your kind messages and support. They do make a difference.

I’m so glad KT that things are going back to normal for you and your family — you are such an inspiration for us all, both with MMII and life. Thank you.
My goal was to continue to do a 2-mile aerobic walk (30 minutes) per day for 6 days a week — I’m not watching the pounds (but am being aware of how I’m eating) because the “unspoken” goal was to get back into size 12 again and I know that the daily work-out has trimmed me down and given me more muscle than I had before. (I started a couple of weeks before MMII did.)
My size 14 jeans are getting real baggy, so last night I thought I would go try on a size 12 and see how they fit. Well, I could get into them and button/zip them up. But they were too tight to sit comfortably. I almost didn’t get up early this morning to exercise because I was disappointed. But because of MMII and one of my teammates here at Team Evergreen, I made the effort.
When I got into work this morning and told my teammate what happened, she said (besides “good for you for getting up and exercising”) that I was soooooo close and that if I keep up the good work I should be able to wear those size 12s in a two weeks.
So between her encouragement and KT and the rest of you here on MMII, I’m able to keep up my commitment to getting and staying healthy. Thanks to you all!!!
