Yo DaVitans,
On Sunday I missed exercise — this may have been the first Sunday all year. I had a family emergency that meant I spent the whole day in the hospital. Everything is working out okay, but exercise was not the priority.
Sunday was a good day for the other two Health Goal categories for me. I had less than 1 diet coke, and I ate reasonably from a caloric point of view.
But my body really craved exercise today (Monday), it hates to miss a day at this point, it is used to it. I had time for a medium workout before flying out of town for a planning retreat.
I did 32 good minutes on the LifeCycle (burning up about 340 calories), one set of sit-ups, one set of push-ups, and about 4 minutes of stretching. For a total of 40 minutes of quality exercise.
I don’t know about you, but exercise is as positive mentally and spiritually for me as it is physically. Helps me relax, get grounded, stay more positive.
One for All,
KT

If I exercise first thing in the morning I am sucessful at completing exercise. As a FA if I wait to excercise at the end of the day the day doesn’t end or I am too tired. So I have learned to get it done first. My goal is 45 minutes 4 times a week. Right now I am lucky if I get 1 time a week. This will help motivate me. Thank you KT.

My wife and I completed a 2-day cleanse to get our bodies ready for a new effort in consistent workouts and a healthy eating plan. We have got ourselves off track the past few months and are determined to get back on our regular eating plan and exercise schedule. We’re starting our workout schedule tonight! Our workout plan consists of strength and core training for up to an hour, focusing on movement and stability. It’s worked well for us and we follow a set plan in a book we’ve come across that is unlike all others we’ve read. Glad Davita has instituted a way to keep motivated. Thanks.
