    Hi KT!!

    My family has something similar to your cottage in Wisconsin. Love those family heirlooms that bring the family together to enjoy good food, good times and of course those fun times when we imbibe a little.

    Our place was bought by my grandfather in the 1930s, a little piece of Griswold Island off the coast of Niantic, Connecticut. I was there over the 4th of July weekend and enjoyed mimosa’s on the sandbar during low tide for a little mini family reunion and my brother’s 50th!! The sunset’s are beautiful as my grandfather had the foresight of getting a spot on the west side of the island. We don’t have too many issues with the random hurricanes that come up the coast (except for Sandy, she was rough), and we can enjoy beautiful summer sunset dinners on the porch.

    Luckily, we are very good about getting fruit and veggies in our meals as that is the best time of year for farm fresh produce…just wondered if frozen grapes in our wine counts as a fruit??

    I can’t wait to get back home….currently living in Vegas, but want to get back to my little piece of paradise when my lease is up out here. Luckily, I have two Davita’s within driving distance of my home to transfer to, and I met the FAs while I was home. Keeping my fingers crossed for job openings when I have to apply….
