How would you like kidney-friendly meals delivered directly to your front door? MagicKitchen.com has made it convenient and affordable. What a great service for a quick meal when you don’t feel like cooking or you are unsure about what to eat on your renal diet. You can order for yourself or send these special meals to a family member or friend with kidney disease. Consider a gift of a week of meals.

Since 2005 MagicKitchen.com has been providing chef-prepared gourmet frozen meals. Because of their success and requests for special diet meals this company has gradually added meals for Senior, Portion-control, Low Sodium and Diabetic-Friendly. The newest addition includes Renal Diet meals for non-dialysis chronic kidney disease and Dialysis-friendly meals for dialysis patients.

The meals are packaged in 7-meal packs & are also available individually. The meal packs provide 7 complete meals and cost $62.50. Individual meals are $10.00 each. A first time customer discount is available–be sure to look for the code under special discounts on the left side on the home page.

The renal and dialysis meals minimize sodium, phosphorus and potassium. Protein is lower in the pre-dialysis renal meals and higher in the dialysis meals. Their nutritional information charts list all the meals and 10 nutrients. Protein on the non-dialysis renal meals ranges from 12 to 23 grams; potassium is 276 to 703 mg; phosphorus is 92 to 293 mg; and sodium is 110 to 735 mg. On the dialysis-friendly meals, protein range is 18 to 41 grams; potassium is 391 to 665 mg; phosphorus is 208 to 346 mg; and sodium is 190 to 743 mg. All of these meals are acceptable for a kidney-friendly diet.
