Are you new to the kidney-friendly diet, or just looking for a refresher? Navigating the world of kidney-friendly eating can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Our newest Today’s Kidney Diet cookbook, Back to Basics, was designed to help you build a solid foundation for delicious and nutritious meals.

What You’ll Find Inside

  • Easy-to-Follow Recipes: Back to Basics is packed with recipes that use simple, wholesome ingredients and straightforward techniques.
  • Flavors That Pop: Kidney-friendly eating doesn’t have to mean missing out on flavor. You’ll find a variety of dishes to satisfy your cravings.
  • Practical Tips and Information: This cookbook is more than just recipes. We offer guidance on meal planning, balancing nutrients and making smart ingredient swaps.
  • Myth-Busting and Label Reading: We’ll tackle common myths about kidney-friendly diets and help you understand what to look for on food labels.

Focus on what matters

Back to Basics focuses on portion sizes, moderation and smart choices, which can help you enjoy a wider variety of foods while staying within your dietary guidelines. All recipes are carefully crafted to be lower in sodium, potassium and phosphorus. My favorite recipe is the Creamy Grape Salad because it is easy to make and satisfies the sweet tooth. I had many patients in my facility try this recipe and raved about the flavor.
