Dining Out Successfully at Mongolian Grill

My next dining out adventure takes me to bd’s Mongolian Grill. It is a unique franchise restaurant where you actually have the ability to pick out what items you want to eat in your stir-fry.  The staff then cooks your food right in front of you. A plus for dialysis patients is you can stack up protein in your stir-fry bowl to help reach your protein goal for the month.

Here are some good picks that you can put together in your stir-fry:

  • Lamb
  • Shrimp
  • Black Beans or Edamame

Other Add-ons

  • Broccoli
  • Carrots
  • Cauliflower
  • Mushrooms
  • Onion
  • Peppers

So here is what I ended up creating on my trip to bd’s Mongolian Grill. My stir- fry consisted of extra chicken, black beans, broccoli, sugar snap peas, bell pepper, lemon and yum-yum sauce.
