Jenny Bajaj “I have been working on mindfulness based practices to manage my stress. If I notice myself on edge, I take a minute to practice a technique, and then get back to whatever I was doing. I would like to spend less time with my inner critic and more time in gratitude.”

I’ve enjoyed daily meditations, I purchased a great book that I read a page each day. I also started walks on my breaks, and I eat my lunch outside to enjoy some fresh air and the sunshine.
I added these to my day to day life, and it has helped to relive stress.

Working on my food choices, but still treated myself to a dessert today. Our work has planned a Healthy choice snack program where we all contribute once a week for healthy snacks to share with our teammates. Today our AA brought the first round in to treat us and we all agreed to help next week replacing the snacks we eat during the day. I will miss the chips but the hummus and veggies were a great start as well as the fruit! I love this idea and we all reacted to it in a very positive way.
I got in some short morning time before work just reflecting on positive thoughts and prayers.With some family things going on I really need to reflect on positive and not negative thoughts.
