Kidney Diet Tips

Finally back!

Finally back! I took a blog leave to work on DaVita Diet Helper which has now launched and is available for anyone to use. DaVita Diet Helper is the newest tool available to help kidney patients plan their diets. You simply register then enter your diet prescription (you need to know your protein and potassium levels—all the meals are low sodium and low phosphorus). Once you are into the program you can choose from two weeks worth or meals and snacks to create your diet plan. All the meals have been calculated, so you don’t have to worry about meeting your numbers! Simply print out the meals with recipes and shopping list. You can also enter foods you eat that aren’t in the plan to keep track of your intake. Try it out!http://www.davita.com/diethelper/
