Fully agree with your comments and have already sent letters to our govt officials in my area. WE are encouraging our patients to take part in expressing their concerns.

My sister is a dialysis tech working 10-12 hrs a day as it is to take care of patients. She works her tail off during that time rarely getting full breaks and going home in pain, exhausted every day from working so hard. The only thing that can give from such proposed actions is that patient care will go in the toilet. These people can’t work harder than they already do without putting their own health in the toilet. Which really is already happening.

I’m on disabilty right now,and my dietitian is very helpful to me along with the kind loving nurses and technicians. I’m only on Medicare with no supplemental insurance, also I started with PTSD, MANIAC DEPRESSION, THEN I ENDED UP WITH RENAL FAILURE, ALONG WITH OPEN HEART SURGERY. SO PLEASE DO
NOT TAKE MEDICARE AWAY FROM ME. OR, SUPPLY ME WITH MEDI-CAL
AND OR ANOTHER INSURANCE COVERAGE. AFTER ALL i FEEL AFTER WORKING ON THESE YEARS, I NEVER ASK FOR DISABILITY. AND I FEEL I SHOULD GET SSA & SSI, WHICH I GOT APPROVE FOR, SO IF YOU LIKE GO AHEAD AND TELL MY FAMILY YOU’RE CUTTING MEDICARE, AND SINCE I CAN’t afford dialysis, I’LL die.

I encourage ALL patients and their family members to join in the fight. For the past couple of weeks I have been actively posting links on my Facebook asking for support. I know there are MILLIONS on dialysis, and I think we need to work together! I think that we need to get through to other patients that are not DaVita patients and get them to join in right?

MY Grandparents both survived a lot longer than they were supposed to because of dialysis. Please don’t take that opportunity away from other people. LAWMAKERS AND THE PROFESSIONALS IN THE MEDICAL FIELDS ARE MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR REGULAR FOLK LIKE ME TO AFFORD ANY KIND OF HEALTH CARE. DON’T DO IT! PLEASE!

Please spread the word to all your family and friends about the potential cuts for medicare and medicaid. Politiicans are supposee to help the people that voted them in but if they dont they shoulld be voted out. It always fall on the people whether its health care or education.
