Veterans Across U.S. Invited to DaVita’s Inaugural Veteran Interview Day

You may have heard that DaVita is hosting a first-of-its-kind National Veteran Interview Day on Sept. 19. As an Air Force veteran, I know first-hand how difficult it can be to find the right career after military service and also the right fit.  I am so thankful to have found DaVita and I believe that their mission, vision, and core values resonate with a lot of veterans.  It is now my mission to bring the Village into our veterans’ lives.

What started out as a “wouldn’t it be cool if” on a conference call quickly turned into reality. The idea gained steam and our small core team in recruiting joined forces with Wisdom (professional and personal development team), our communications team and leaders across the Village to make this day happen. I have been on many calls with both veteran teammates and veteran representatives in the local communities and the support is overwhelming.

We are holding live interviews at eight DaVita business offices and virtually via phone:

  • Denver, CO
  • Nashville, TN
  • Federal Way, WA
  • Los Angeles, CA
  • Malvern, PA
  • Deland, FL
  • Dallas, TX
  • Chicago, IL

This day means a lot to me. Sure, serving in the Air Force has given me a special outlook, but my feelings about the day are similar to the entire Village. My one veteran recruiting voice has been multiplied 70,000 times. We have a saying in the military …” one team, one fight.” This day cannot be successful without each and every teammate working together to achieve one common cause, to bring our Village to our veteran community.  So what this day means to me is that my DaVita family is there for my military family. I am grateful to have both.

Please help us spread the word and grow the Village by referring all veterans interested in interviewing on Sept. 19 to DaVitaHiresVets.com.

One for All!
